AI isn't a must. You can always do the AI later.

Work on character and make sure they are good. Look at DivineWolf's characters. They are all amazing and well-done, but have no AI. If your character is good, people will want to patch AI on it (or maybe you will patch it later).

Hell yea, Guts! I loev my Guts too, I got an english soundpack for him. Once I learn how to edit, I want to make a better one for him. He's so damn strong though lol I gotta also learn how to nerf him so I can use him against my friend since we like fair fights.

Hard to tell haha. From what I remember, MvC MegaMan, SUGIO's (I think?) Doraemon, and some Shingo edit were my most played, but as far as defining a favorite... I guess it would be MegaMan.
