My presleep ritual is quite involved. at 8pm I enjoy a cup of chamomile tea cooled to 45 degrees celsius surrounded by 7 lavender scented mood candles. While sipping my tea I contemplate the day that has just passed and consider whether my day was spent constructively. At 8:43 i will finish the last sips of my tea and by 8:45 the cup will have been rinsed and placed in the drainboard. I then shower between 8:50 and 9pm. After my shower I will dry myself then lie on my back on my bed motionless until 9:15. From 9:15 until 9:30 I have private time with myself. Then I put my jimjams on and brush my teeth. If it's still not 10pm I will lie motionless on my bed with the lights on and my eyes open until 10pm. At 10pm sharp I turn the lights off and close my eyes. I fall asleep at exactly 10:12pm. I have verified this using video cameras.
