What are the games that to some extent you are ashamed to play/love?

Lol, i remember playing some scary version of Cooking Mama game and that's how i found out about the game series... When i was younger, i thought the lady was a murderer and tormentor because of that. I am an idiot lol, but now i found out she is actually not evil.

EDIT: Oh, yeah, i googled and now i understand everything... I played PETA's game, Cooking Mama Kills Animals... But i also remember playing some of their Pokemon game and i was surprised to see the Pokemon being able to talk. Shame on me.

Another update, just finished the game, I don't get what was PETA thinking with that? It was actually quite fun, haha and with a "happy ending".

Btw, now that I remember, did anyone play something similiar to this but with McDonalds? Don't remember if it was also PETA's work.

You mean the one with the baby chicks? I watched a let’s play video on it, and it’s a Mario clone. They did the same thing with KFC involved. I’m sure all of us at least played one of their games at one point and didn’t know better.

In some apsects, I'm a little embarrassed to like stuff like Monster Prom but only with certain friend groups. In one circle of friends I'd probably never share that I like that sort of game because they probably wouldn't like it anyway and I'd probably get some shit for enjoying it. However, in some of my other groups of friends I don't hide the fact that I enjoy those sorts of games because I share that as a joined interest.

It's just got a really weird sense of humor that I'm sure most of my friends wouldn't find funny. It's kind of like a VN in a way but it's also got dating sim elements with multiplayer attached. Takes a lot of inspiration from the YAHWG (they even joke about it) if you've played that.

Yeah, it's a really really interesting concept and it goes on sale a lot for some reason so if you ever see it I'd recommend it, especially with friends who are into that sort of stuff

Also, sorry for my previous post, but right now, from what i could remember, the only games i am KIND OF ashamed to like are Tsukihime and Kagetsu Tohya.

They are amazing games, although yeah, i kind of dislike the s*x scenes.

And i hated the Shiki and his younger sister Akiha and Shiki and Len s*x scenes, it makes me uncomfortable even if it's fictional and even if Akiha is Shiki's adopted sister and not biological, the thought of them having s*x makes me feel off. And plus Len is a child character, even if it's not real, i find it a bit weird when an adult character has s*x with a child character.

And plus, other than MUGEN Archive, i don't talk too much about these games in real life, because i am afraid that people will think i'm some messed up guy who is in love with his sister, that i'm attracted to children and that i support r*pe.

Yo, why are you embarrassed? There's nothing to be ashame of, that was the main purpose of this thread. I like reading about "weird" (nothing weird btw) games people love, most (if not all) of the times it is justified. We must accept our likes. I'm very open-minded. If it's possible I would even try the games of the thread.
