    Default Resolution or localcoord

    Tengo demasiadas dudas sobre este tema, por que se que hay screenpacks de 1280x720 y 640x480 que creo que son los mas comunes, pero hay varias resoluciones que tienen como un plus en ellas como:
    854x480: mejor para utilizar chars de 640p en stages de 720p
    420x240: no pixelation en los chars
    Pero es realmente cierto?

    En 420x240 lo pongo en pantalla completa e igual se ve borroso
    En 854x480 los hyperbg salen cortados

    Entonces cual seria una buena resolucion o una opcion de mugen.cfg o system.def para que no haya pixelation?
    ;------------------------------------------------

    I have too many doubts on this topic, why I know that there are 1280x720 and 640x480 screenpacks that I think are the most common, but there are several reviews that have a plus in them such as:
    854x480: best for using 640p chars in 720p stages
    420x240: no pixelation in characters
    But is it really true?

    In 420x240 I put it in full screen and it still looks blurry
    In 854x480 the hyperbg come out cut off

    So what would be a good resolution or mugen.cfg or system.def option so there is no pixelation?

    Not sure what are you traying to do, but after a long time of test and error I use this configurations and most chars/stages look good ( take in consideration I play in window mode then I maximize the windows to cover the whole screen):

    GameWidth = 640
    GameHeight = 480
    RenderMode = OpenGL
    SafeMode = 0
    Resizable = 1
    KeepAspect = 0
    StageFit = 1
    SystemFit = 1

    For large chars like Blazblue I also use:

    GameWidth = 1280
    GameHeight = 720

    However, for some reason this makes my Latptop overheat and shutdown after some time.

    mira te lo pongo en perspectiva
    usas 640x480 no hay manera de que al ponerlo en pantalla completa no se desenfoque?

    look I put it in perspective
    you use 640x480 there is no way that putting it in full screen doesn't blur it?

    Define "blur"
    I can switch from window to full screen and I see nothing blurry at all.

    You need to test all video configuration options not only the Width/Height parametrs

    This ones, the mugen.cfg has an entire section for Video configuration

    RenderMode = OpenGL
    SafeMode = 0
    Resizable = 1
    KeepAspect = 0
    StageFit = 1
    SystemFit = 1

    Also consider the old characters have low resolution sprites, they will always looks less detailed and "not smooth" since that the way they were draw.

    This is a screenshot of how I see Mugen in my computer with the parameters GameWidth = 1280 and GameHeight = 720 (this is a Windows screenshot, not a Mugen screenshot)

    Stage, Life bar, and the Low Res character looks exactly has they are in the SFF files. Character at the right is a little deformed because I resize the scale in her .cns file to make her fit with the other chars in my roster.

    If you still think the low res characters look bad at full screen, then try a video filter like this one:

    U should look at the size of the characters/stages u have,
    Then u truly know what the best resolution is.

    I make al my stages in 640x360.
    This makes all the characters fit nicely.

    I do run my game at 1280x720
    This is only 2x bigger then in what res i made the stages,
    And it looks really nice, not blurry at all.

    If you want it to look really crisp in full screan pick a higher res
    But do know that some stages and chars arent fit for a high res so they won't look as good

    Goodluck on finding it!

    If you are using Mugen 1.1 and OpenGL, you can mix video resolution to get the best video quality. (No hay esta problema en Mugen 1.1 con OpenGL)

    Screenpack localcoord = whatever you want (lo que deseas)

    Mugen.cfg localcoord = screenpack localcoord x1+ (640x480 x3 = 1920x1440. es valido y permitido)

    Mugen.cfg resolution ([video] height and width) = your monitor resolution (La resolución de su monitor.)

    Uso 640x480 screenpack, 1920x1440 localcoord, y 1920x1200 resolución.

    (lol. hablo un poco el español)
