Comic books tend to have some pretty insane crossovers. Superman vs. Terminator. Batman vs. Alien & Predator. GI Joe vs. Street Fighter. Power Rangers vs. Justice League. Marvel's Conan the Barbarian is technically tied into the Cthulhu Mythos, stuff like that.

The mainstream Marvel comics continuity is designated Earth-616. Earth-616 was created from a cosmic egg after the universe designated Earth-TRN566 was destroyed by The Great Cthulhu's son: Dweller-in-Darkness. Earth-TRN566 was a parallel dimension that only slightly differed to Earth-92131, aka the shared 90s universe of Marvel cartoons such as X-Men and Spider-Man The Animated Series. Cthulhu was also worshipped amongst early mankind during the Hyborian Age of Marvel-616 (when Conan the Barbarian existed) and Dr. Strange has also fought Lovecraftian, chaotic, non-Euclidean beings such as Shuma-Gorath. If you want to dig even further, you can connect Shuma-Gorath to Ryu due to MvC, Ryu can connect to Nintendo due to Smash, Smash can connect to pretty much any game, ad infinitum.

In other words, everything is a part of the Lovecraft Mythos: even you. ;)
