I'd have to go with Driver San Francisco (2011). To put it lightly, it's probably one of the most unique and underrated driving/racing games in my opinion. It had a good, well written story, and a large variety of licensed vehicles to have fun with and mess around. The feature that made this game unique was the "Shift" mechanic, where you could teleport into any vehicle at any time. An good example would be, well let's say you're in a police car chasing down a suspect and with a press of a button, you could "Shift" into a bus or semi truck and smash head-on into the enemy vehicle. It was a lot of fun back then and I think it still holds up after nearly 10 years. Sadly most digital storefronts like Steam no longer carry the game most likely due to licensing issues with the vehicles and/or the soundtrack. However there is a petition to get this game back up on online storefronts, with around 133,544 signatures and counting.
