(shortened due to 4000 character limit)
Having only SOME experience, i agree with some of these. I enjoyed Pokemon games, but some fans can be a pain in the neck, and to not be biased, it's the same for Digimon fans. I like Digimon, but i admit it has some flaws and unlikeable things too, can't have light without darkness.
DBZ is a fun anime, but is the fandom... Wow. I can't put it into words. Some people think only power and strength matters in anime and fiction, though that belief does not only apply for DBZ fans, but yeah, DBZ is pretty famous for having many powerful characters, although its fans can go too far, and they sometimes do not listen to reason, they think they are the only ones correct. Though i can't only attack DBZ, some other anime fans can also be egotistical and think they are the only ones right. Never, i repeat, never read a Goku vs Saitama thread. I didn't read one, but i know from experience that Goku vs [anyone] threads are often predictable, unless if it's actually a fair match that makes people think.
Wattpad is a headache, i am glad i got banned on that shitty site. (even though i was tryna be kind, but other 1ssholes constantly insulted others and never got warned nor banned) Good alternative would have been never joining it in the first place, but oh well, we learn from mistakes. AO3 is better in every way, it only lacks forums and private messages, but everything else is great, AO3 is like freedom, Wattpad is like jail. I felt like a bird out of cage when i discovered AO3.
Not familiar with others, heard of them, but never experienced their fandom and i don't have enough experience to comment my opinion.
Sorry for a vague comment.
