It's no wonder why I stopped caring about Smash years ago. Besides, I am more into MVC, Million Arthur: Arcana Blood, Arcana Heart, and Melty Blood now instead.

Same. Smash games were fun. But the fandom wasn't pleasant. In general, Nintendo fandom isn't really bright, there are some good people, but its fandom can also be bunch of judgmental āssholes, people who are jerks to someone new to the franchise instead of offering advice (you know that gatekeeping rarely has a positive effect on people, it makes people lose interest in something they like because of fear of being judged) and people who think you're a traitor if you like other games, together with, or without Nintendo. Does that make any sense? Let people enjoy things!
Also, it's ok to enjoy lighthearted and childlike things as an adult. Just don't hurt people and don't be a jerk to people who enjoy life. Some of just don't want a super complicated life and some of us aren't 24/7 serious and some of us just want some cheerful things in life. Not everything has to be about swearing, murder and sēx. And when you think about it, most of old cartoons (Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, etc) were made and drawn by adults.
