Ironically, I find it to be the exact opposite. I've had way more pleasant encounters with people of various faiths than I have with, for example, the typical edgy "God isn't realz!11!1" atheists who want everyone in the world to be exactly like them. Although religious cooks are bound to exist in the world, I feel like the paradigm has shifted and the non-religious people have become the conservative fundamentalists of yesteryear. Personally, I think the anti-religious community are often much more holier-than-thou and intolerant because they are constantly trying to preach to anyone who thinks differently than them about about why they're "wrong".
