I have experimented with all ends of the scale excluding those terrible one hit kill ronald characters which is beyond my understanding or comprehension of fun in all ways possible

Eh, i most of the times when i play mugen games or create a mugen roster i do a balance between both, some serious characters and some joke characters.

lol that sounds pretty damn funny actually xD. My mugen is mainly serious with a decent bit of joke characters, i love a good fight my latest mugen definitely has alot of challenging ai but nothing SUPER OP. anyone have any balanced boss characters they recommend? i label sachiel and Dio(m-ism) as beatable boss characters.

For my personal roster, i like a middle ground between serious and joke characters. Although i tone down on the joke characters with my build for playing with other people.
