in my first mugen i made by myself was serious. trying to find characters that looked good, played good and werent cheap or overpowered. then i had a secret row of hidden joke characters that some were a bit cheap and broken but were fun to play as and against.
Mix of both
I actually try to do a little of both, and also do my own "balancing" by editing stats of weaker characters to stand up to the big guys in watch mode... of course they end up losing to characters like Donald anyway so go figure.
mostly serious
half my roster is mostly serious characters, the other half is mostly cheap characters or boss characters but ill sometimes balance the stats between some of the characters
Honestly....it'll probably be a bit of both, i like serious characters..but joke characters are just as fun..I can't really donwload anything rn but tomorrow i'll download some characters...Any reccomendations?
i download char in packs of up to 6 char. my roster is srious now, but i'm planning on adding the jokes too.
My roster is serious
Based on POTS-style characters
Sometimes I try to balance the attacks so that it's fair
Although at first I had a roster of jokes
most of my character are serious but some like mangle and the noob underpant sans are joke characters
40% of mi character are from jojo
i got 10 diferent DIOs
A little bit of half and half
Pretty much both, depending on the Mugen I feel like playing
I try to make my main as serious as possible but i sometimes make another for just whatever
Mostly for jokes, serious in between.
Both
Serious in the fact that they can be used as legit fighters. But Silly too.
Like having homer, peter, and SpongeBob along side. Gohan, Jill etc
A mix of both, my main mugen roster is a JUS style one with 154 characters
I keep my roster serious with one row of joke characters.
Serious, with a few joke characters to spicen up combat.
Attempting a Mugen roster of only OCs, Mugen-only, or obscure characters. Getting back into it after a long hiatus.
