MKP folder?

We are planning to add a Mortal Kombat Project (MKP) subfolder but I am not sure if I should add it in the Full Games folder or in the Mortal Kombat folder.

I have a slight preference for the Full Games folder but others may prefer the MK folder.
I don't want to upset the MKP fanbase so I guess I should let you decide either way.

I'd say full games but then again putting it on the MK folder kinda makes more sense. Speaking of, wouldn't a MKP category for chars be good? Since they're supposed to be on that exact setup, I'd like to have them separeted from normal MK chars.

MKP will have its own dedicated folder, the question is where should we create that folder. Do you prefer a Full Game subfolder or a MK subfolder?

MKP also has characters from other digitized fighters such as Street Fighter The Movie, but most of the characters are from the MK series.

This is a good point and the reason why I have a slight preference for the Full Games category but I would completely understand if MK fans find it more handy to have it in the MK folder.

This seems to be a very good reason but then again, we had to put some other full games that doesnt work with regular mugen into a non full game category

I hoped for a broad consensus but so far the community is as split as I am.

I think the mk and mkp may be separated, why?

because for mkp chars, you only add to the mk chaotic or mkp and works....
but mkp chars in 1.0 or 1.1 not work if you dont put this in the folder data https://mugenarchive.com/forums/down...mer-and-others

We can understand the fact that mkp chars may cause problems in mugen 1.0 unless you:

1. erase states in .def file : data/mkp/fatality... data /mkp/bmoves.st (not reccommended)
2.or add that patch

but the begginers may have problems, i prefer to separate mkp chars from mk chars.

If i ordered mk chars i prefer chars may be classified in 4 categories:

1. mk chars for winmugen/1.0/1.1
2. mkp chars
3. mk cartoon
4. mk related (digitized, tatoo assasins, kasumi ninja....)

I prefer a separated subcategory, MK is itself MK mugen characters, stages, etc
while MKP is especially characters and stages compatible with MKP.

I'm closing the poll, it's clear at this point there isn't a consensus about it.

While it would more logical to have the MKP subfolder in the Full Games folder, I think it would be more user friendly to have it in the MK folder. So I am going to add it where I believe you would expect it the most : in the MK folder.
