Yes.Especially the music.I was an huge fan of horror in my childhood and i was you know "the most stereotypical kid".Now i'm 11 and i watched nes godzilla creepypasta.I got inspired and i found ost for nes godzilla: monster of monsters.I was never been so sinister than that moment.
I think some games can be good regardless of age.
Yes, surely I like old games.
Just like with movies or music, I consume a mixture of everything, from each decade or era. Why limit yourself?
If I'd let nostalgia speak for me, I'd say Mega Drive or PlayStation, with Aladdin or Tekken 3.What is your favorite old console/game
But nowodays perhaps I'd change such answer to Saturn or PlayStation 2 (yeah I know this sounds just like step one generation forward, lol) with Panzer Dragoon or Armored Core: Last Raven, respectively.
Obviously though I just like many different games from almost each platform. So it's cool to dive and explore.
who doesn't?
I LOVE LOVE LOVE old computer games like the ones from Sierra On-Line and all that.
Some of them are just as good content-wise as games they make today. For example,
if you are a horror fan, "Phantasmagoria" and "Phantasmagoria 2" are still in my opinion
two of the best and SCARIEST horror games for the PC. However, they are more aimed
towards adults with very mature themes, and feature a lot of gore and other stuff, so I
only recommend them for older gamers who are already adults or are at least 16 or
17.
I like old games better than the newer flashy highly advanced graphical ones they
have now. They had less to work with back then, so in my opinion I think a lot more
work went into having to figure out how to do what game programmers do in modern
games very easily today but back then they had to figure out a different way to do
that because it wasn't as easy...does that make any sense?
Also another thing with old games I like all the history with them, too.
