I love them, although I also love the new ones, I think it's something that I don't care about haha!
One of my first video games was undoubtedly Sonic! I love it without a doubt one of the best games ever!
Some arcade games are certainly great and extremely fun! Even playing with a brother or friend also makes it more fun!

Yes I was a kid in the 90s and played many NES, SNES, N64, Gameboy and PS1 games. I got to experience 3D games when it was new.

I absolutely like playing some of the games from "Ye Olde" days, whether it be old gems such as the Shining Force series or goofy jankfests like the Genesis port of the original Clayfighter.
That being said, I utterly LOATHE the retro gaming community, one of the many tumors that showcase the failure of humanity.

I grown up with Amiga 500 16 bit games. So I prefer oldschool games. They're still funny to play, with the toony graphics, items to collect around levels, gems, coins and anything like this. Also they had a simple story and simple graphic... but fully enjoyable. I don't like new games except Warzone that I play with my friends and the Borderland series. I tried to play many games since finally I have a decent computer, but any game ends to be uninstalled.
One of my favorite games back in the PS1 times was Spyro 3, but when I tried the reignited trilogy I uninstalled the game after playing half of the first level lol

For me, it 100% depends on how well they aged. Sure if I played a game as a kid, I'll still like it with my rose-tinted nostalgia goggles, but if I go back to it and see it's still fun to play around with, then it's fine in my book. Games like DOOM and Deus Ex are some of my examples, which aren't super old, but still.

I like plenty of old games. Pac Man World, SMB3, Castlevania 3 and 4, etc. Doesn't matter to me how many years old the game is, a fun game is a fun game.

Trying out old games and appreciating how far we've come in so many areas is fulfilling. I find it especially enjoyable to play them when I just want to relax and take my mind off of college work.

For the most part, I tend to enjoy newer media compared to older media. Especially when it comes to video games. But I do love classic gaming. Games such as Dig Dug, Galaga and tons of older RPGs have a special place in my heart. I would say older gaming is at its peak around the Gamecube and PS2 era of consoles.

Old games are very entertaining and there are millions of them, I always spend my time playing super nintendo, nintendo 64, neogeo and arcade games
