I started this new game called The Inquisitor. It takes place in an alternate history where Jesus did not die on the cross, but instead layed his vengeance upon those who tormented Him. The game is set 1500 years after these events. An Inquisitor named Mordimer Madderdin has been sent to the European city of Konigstein to investigate rumors of a vampire in the area. It's a dark, gritty, morality driven story with dialogue choices, detective work (finding clues, etc.) and action. The overall story and concept are well done, but some parts of the gameplay could've used some polish. The combat, for example, reminds me a lot of games like The Witcher and Assassin's Creed, but unlike those games, it feels janky and underwhelming. Overall its not a bad game for what it is. The overall concept of it is arguably more creative than most AAA games these days.
