Keyboard v Mouse

I'm might be wrong, but either i'm too old or not updated with current mugen trend... can mugen be play with mouse?
And of course mugen would be best playing with controller. Example, X-Arcade. You can google to get more info and pricing on the product. But like most people think, keyboard would be best for singleplayer, but if you're looking for 2-player controller, logitech controller/x-arcade would be a niche choice.
