I emulate pretty much every console.... my favorite though are arcade games, MAME, Supermodel, M2Emulator, Winkawaks, etc.

I even went as far to build my own two player arcade control panel.... surprisingly this isn't a very expensive project, and not really very hard either...... you can go on ebay and get arcade button kits that come with 2 real arcade joysticks, 16-18 real arcade buttons, all of the microswitches, all of the wiring, and a Xin Mo USB arcade controller PCB for around $50-$60 for the entire bundle, the only other things you'll need are the materials for building the housing, and some basic woodworking tools and skills..... after I built my control panel, arcade games actually FEEL exactly like arcade games, I've also found the stick is nice to use with other emulators as well.... I even use it for MUGEN, and IMO, it's way better than any control pad.

Heh, sorry for the somewhat offtopic reply, just thought it might be of interest to some of the folks in this thread, anyway if anyone is interested in doing a similar project and can't figure out where to get started, shoot me a PM, I might be able to point you to some helpful resources.

I used to use MAME emulators but they can be glitchy more often than not, I mostly stick to Mugen now, since I used MAME for fighting games anyway.

I use a lot of different emulators and I play various ROMs when I feel in the mood for some old school gaming.
    I like to use -
    PCSX2 (PS2)
    Gens (Megadrive/Genesis)
    Dolphin (Gamecube & Wii)
    DOSBox
    ePSXe (PS1)
    MAME (Arcade)
    Kawaks (Arcade)
    Mekaw (Master System)
    Project 64 (N64)
    NullDC (Dreamcast)

I mostly use Mekaw, ePSXe, PCSX2, Project 64, and NullDC. I didn't grow up with NES or SNES, so I rarely play those ROMs.
Emulators are excellent and their creators have given countless hours of nostalgic fun for millions worldwide. Good on 'em :)

I've been trying to get emulators on my Linux laptop since extenuating circumstances forced me to put my gaming desktop in storage.

Right now, I got PCSX, desmume, vba-whatever-the-****-its-called, and Project64 (through WINE)... haven't had a chance to get NullDC back, probably will try when I have a lot of time and my frustration level is low...

Also, I have a little Chinese emulation handheld called the Dingoo. Very cool little thing that I can play all the old school stuff on, as well as GBA...

    Android:
    Nostalgic NES
    SNES9x EX+
PPSSPP (Works like a charm suprisingly)
    GenPlusDroid
    Gameboy Emu
A pirated DraStic cuz fuk u for making me have to pay for emulators.

    Computer:
Dolphin (Works like a charm. Not suprising though)
    PSXE (PS1 emulator)
Citra 3DS (R.I.P my 3DS XL. Thanks, bus driver for throwing it away when I left it unattended... My other buses didn't do that... This works like crap atm but I will give it a few years.)
    PCSX (Playstation 2 emulator)
Desume DS (Pokemon is so much funner on a mobile device. I would recommend Drastic on Android if you are going to play Pokemon.)

I did own like half of these systems in reality. I just want to play games on my computer that aren't bootlegged sprited flash games trying to be Mario or Pokemon or Megaman.
