Japanese actually seems slightly easy, considering there are other languages i recognize the existence of.
Is Japanese the hardest language? No.
Is Japanese one of the hardest languages? Definitely, but it's not on the first place.
I can read 猫、黒、白、七、月、夜。I am not too familiar with Kanji, i do think it's difficult, but guess what. Japanese may have Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji, however, i feel like there are languages with only one alphabet system that are way harder than Japanese, in my perspective.
I looked at images of Hindi and Korean letters and words. Even Indian. I feel like i would learn Japanese quicker than these three, call me insane, but i feel like Japanese's Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji words make it harder for me to get confused because a lot of them look different. Some look similar, but not all. In my opinion, and i don't want to sound rude, but Hindi, Korean and Indian letters look really difficult for me. When a lot of letters look really similar, it makes it harder to learn a language for me.
And i know it's my mother tongue, but i also find Montenegrin together with Serbian, Bosnian etc languages difficult as well, because almost every word has a gender and it makes it harder for foreigners. This is why i'm attracted to English, because not every word is gendered so, it feels way easier to talk to people. I am not sure about Russian and Bulgaria's difficulties though, i was never that interested in these languages, though i can enjoy Bulgarian songs.
It is difficult to learn two alphabets, but sometimes, one alphabet can be more difficult than two. In general, alphabet is difficult, because you need a lot of things to do and know to learn just one language. Alphabets, how are words pronounced, how to form sentences etc. It's like being born again, but i guess that's what makes learning languages beautiful as well, because you think and live in more ways than one.

I agree with this. I must say that's its kinda hard to learn Japanese. Trying to learn about Kanji, Hiragana, Katakana and all that. It's kinda overwhelming. When I studied it for a little bit, I found it a little easier to speak it rather than write it.
