1. Life would be boring if only one language existed, no matter how much people wish for only one language to exist.
There are a lot of reasons why. Yes, i understand that not everyone is fluent in English and knows only few words, but i also know that not everyone speaks English, as popular as it is, there are some people who do not know even one word or letter. There are people who can actually live without that language. It is true that languages make your life easier though, but you don't need to go learning 100 languages. (assuming human brain can even reach and memorize that many)
Do i wish more people spoke English? A bit, however, i won't force anyone to go and learn it, there are some people who are okay with little knowledge of English and there are people who WANT to know more about it. Huge difference, not everyone has to know everything.
But do i wish English was the only language? As much as i like it, it's going to be a hard no. French, Portugal, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Mandarin, Greek, etc etc, there are a lot of cool languages to discover if someone is interested. Life would be really boring if only one language existed, yeah, way more people would understand each other, but it would still feel so wrong and empty. There are some foreign songs and games that are cool even if you don't understand anything. If only one language existed, there would likely be less shows, games etc. But likely, i say. And even if Japanese was the only language, or French, or whatever other language, life would still be boring, even if it was the coolest language in the world. Every country and language has some value, potential and something new to bring to the world. We don't need to know every language though, but we have to respect foreign cultures as much as we love our country/language, foreigners have changed the world in some way too, polyglots or not.
2. I dislike the words Gen Z, Millennial, Boomer. I don't hate the Gen Z, Millennials, Boomers but i dislike the way the words sound. It feels like people use it more as a way to insult someone rather than describing generation of people and i also dislike generalizations because not everyone is the same and not everyone likes the same things.
