I am not a big fan of Nirvana's music. I am not saying i hate or dislike them, i just feel like they aren't for me, since i'm a person who likes bands and singers with most of songs that have meaningful lyrics, i can take one or two meaningless (I'm a Walrus, Chacarron Macarron for examples) songs, though i feel like most of Nirvana's songs just do not appeal to me, you know? It feels a bit pretentious for me and i feel like i'm not seeing some magic that the other younger and older people see. Despite this, i actually like R1pe Me and Polly, because these songs are actually meaningful and have a deep story behind them. However, i understand why their songs' lyrics may be silly and random, i read somewhere that Kurt preferred music to lyrics, i can understand that, i listen to Techno songs without lyrics, and some songs can have amazing music, but an annoying voice. I do NOT hate Nirvana, i do not dislike the band either, i just feel like their music and lyrics aren't for me and i do not see myself in them, meaning or no meaning.

I apologize if i offended a Nirvana fan, i can respect your opinion if you like Nirvana, but one must try everything to see what appeals to them and what doesn't. I love Queen's songs and not just the music, but the band members have some nice atmosphere about them as well, and i feel alive when i look at their images. I am not too much into The Beatles, but i can appreciate their contributions to the history of music and they had an effect on people so, they changed the world and music in some positive way. Etc etc.
