This is half popular, but also half unpopular, since the early 2010's were heavily criticized (to be fair, every decade and year was criticized until they were gone) but at the same time, i see few people who do have nostalgia for that era. Anyway, here it goes.

The early 2010's (for me, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014) were a great time. They were basically like a repeat of the late 2000's, (2007-2009, idk if 2006 counts as late 2000's, i believe it's a mid 2000's year) in a good way though. A lot of great songs came from that era, Danza Kuduro came out in 2010, Mr. Saxobeat in 2011, Bara Bere in 2012, etc etc. And not to forget, that a lot of songs sounded like they were from the 2000's. Listen to My Passion by Akcent, sounds like some late 2000's song, yet it was made in 2010. However, the era had some bad songs, but i feel like i remember the good more.
The sites looked cool and simple. DeviantART (even though i do hate that site, i saw few likeable art actually) looked cool in 2012, ROBLOX looked amazing in 2012 in my personal opinion, i have some nostalgia for 2012 Facebook because of the friends, messages and notifications icons, etc, Youtube looked fascinating in 2012, but it looked cool in 2011 and 2010 as well, i forgot about other sites.
In some ways, life back then was slightly modern, but a bit more tolerable and less miserable.
People had phones, but not everyone did. I feel like depression was less common, because i didn't search, but i didn't see a lot of people opening up about their depression or talking about it in 2010 to 2012 (though i saw few depressive posts in 2013 and 2014, some guy in 2013 said that life is pointless, i do not see many 2012 and under posts talking about life being pointless, idk, may be me though), but it doesn't mean that it didn't exist, it did exist back then, just wasn't as common then. Though sadly, a lot of people back then called depressed people and depressed characters "emos", which i hate, not enjoying life shouldn't be seen as disability or being abnormal in society's perspective, it should be normal to feel bad and it should be normal to get tired of life sometimes, we can't afford to be happy 24/7 no matter how bright the sun is.
One positive thing about early 2010's is that memes did exist back then, but they weren't EVERYWHERE and were a bit more decent. No "guy vs girl" (that one with some bearded guy and black haired girl, idk, i hate that meme) memes, people weren't constantly screaming "HAHA KAREN" "HAHA SIMP" "lol amogus" (hate these 3 too, Karen is a sweet name, but it got ruined by memes, and simp is such an unneeded and rude word, i am not into Among Us but i dislike its memes) crap then. Though i do admit that the early 2010's, even if some memes were good, they had some crappy memes as well. These 2010-2014 "haha justin bieber bad", "rebecca black bad lol", "i wanna go to the 50's/60's/whatever" memes make me annoyed, these are the only kind of memes i do not find funny.
I don't know if it's my nostalgia speaking, but i think the early 2010's were an amazing time. However, it had its flaws as well, and i know that not everyone was happy back then, and there is a lot of proof. I would like to go back, i prefer the 2010-2014 to the 2015-2019 years. Not saying the latter is bad, but i just miss when way more people were happy with their lives.
