This may sound hard to believe, but what about I'm about to say is quite possibly the most unpopular opinion regarding Mugen and other fighting games.. I will confess that once you start playing Mugen and downloading all sorts of characters, stages, etc. it feels like every old-school 2D fighting game becomes obsolete. I admit that I own digital copies of various SNK/Neo Geo fighting games and yet I don't play them anymore because of Mugen. I mean what is the point of playing, lets say, the King of Fighters 98' anymore when you can download characters and stages or even lifebars from that game and put them in your Mugen roster?

I'm sorry if I sound crazy for saying something like this. I'm probably the only one who feels this.
