I am tired of the "boys don't cry" stereotype.
Stop it. Wake up. We are living in 2021, not the 50's, the 40's, or whatever the hell time when boys used to be macho machines with no emotions.
Boys are human beings who, like everyone else, have emotions, have feelings. Boys are NOT macho machines without feelings who punch everything that exists and never cry or feel any emotion, because, you know "BOYS DON'T CRY!!!11!", no, it does not work that way. Boys feel. Girls feel. We all feel. Who are we without feelings?
Not feeling anything is horrible. Not being able to express your feelings because of your gender is horrible.
Boys who are taught not to cry or feel emotions often grow up to become destructive and violent men who hit women and people because they are too afraid to express themselves. Stop. That stereotype just ruins boys' and girls' lives together. Boys are not machines with no emotions. It's 2021, but sadly, that saying is still here.
@++Sparky++ Hmm, i don't know that episode, but thanks for telling me about it. It's really upsetting how much hate male rap*sts and harassers get, yet female rap*sts and harassers get away with it because of their gender. Thankfully, some people stand up and express their dislike of female rap*sts and harassers, but not as much as male. People hate Pepe for constantly chasing Penelope despite her not liking it, but if Penelope chased him a lot of times, (from what i've read, she did chase him in few episodes, but not many) a lot of people would just turn a blind eye to it. All the generalizing and the "men can't be rap*d" stereotypes just ruin my mood. I hate rap*sts, male or female. I believe that if someone commits r*pe, regardless of their gender, they are horrible people and no one should have mercy on them. R*pe is horrible, let's get that straight. Always ask for consent, do not satisfy yourself by ruining someone else's life.
(i apologize for a controversial comment and if i missed the point of your comment)
