Most likely unpopular since i know that everyone loves the early 2000's the most for understandable reasons, but here it goes.

The late 2000's were my favorite parts of the 2000's decade. They had flaws too, but the late 2000's have some energy and atmosphere in them that makes me feel like i would like living in them. I have stupid reasons though. I loved the late 2000's mainly because of Digimon having a fifth season, (Data Squad or Savers if you're a dub or sub watcher) The King of Fighters' PS2 sequels to '98 and 2002, the PS2 Mortal Kombat games, and also, Tsukihime and Kagetsu Tohya were getting more popular amongst English speaking people together with Melty Blood due to Tsukihime getting an English patch in 2007. Don't know when Kagetsu Tohya got English patch, but it was famous in the 2007-2009 years. Some of Melty Blood games got English patches in 2007 as well from what i saw. (i know that Actress Again got an sequel Actress Again Current Code which is English in late 2011 so, pretty much every MB game is translated to English) Okay, yes, i know these games (talking about Tsuki, KT and MB, not KOF or MK) were famous in 2006 in 2005 and earlier years, but i feel like they were only Japanese games back then and didn't have English patches making them harder to discover and find, if that is understandable. May be only me though, but that is the reason i love the late 2000's. Of course, the decade had its good and its bad sides so, i cannot romanticize or make something sound better or worse than it already is.
