I have two unpopular opinions:

1. I do not care about modern celebrities. (Sorry, @Vogel i wasn't being specific) I mean, i do feel sad when some celebrity dies, (unless if they were bad people) but it's not the end of the world for me, and i am not obsessed with them. Although i am okay with it if you like them, i just don't really care about them.

2. I am male and i don't want kids. I'm not g*y or anything, i just feel like having kids is not for me, especially since if i ever have one (doubt i will), i may have to hear screaming, whining and crying every night and i may have less peace if i ever did have one so, no thanks. I love having some peace, and me time is always important and everyone needs it in their lives. And sorry if that is a bad point/argument, but nobody ever asked to be born, and yet, here we are.

Sorry if i offended someone who loves celebrities, or someone who has kids by the way.

To start things off, I don't believe in nostalgia. I believe that it clouds people's minds, and sometimes those folks get too nostalgic and they refuse to see the flaws in the things they are nostalgic about. Whenever I see a so called "90s or 2000s" kids starting by saying like "Kids these days won't understand bla, bla", it genuinely pisses me off. Just because these people watched Rugrats, or Ren and Stimpy or had a N64 or a Gamecube or whatever, automatically makes them better than today's kids?! I don't think so!

Cool to see more posts on this thread. Anyway, your opinion is interesting and i agree. They think they are special and better just because they grew up in the past.

That's pretty much their logic.
Either way, kids today can watch cartoons from the 90's and play 90's games, it's not like they suddenly stopped existing. To be honest, i feel like 90's kids love to put other people down for not growing up in the 90's just to feel better about themselves. I hate most of 90's kids, although some can be nice and some of them can be tolerated.

Few more unpopular opinions:
1. Digimon Data Squad is an amazing season in my opinion. I can understand why some people don't like it though, i know that it kind of goes downhill and becomes less interesting after

Marcus defeats Kurata

but other than that, it's amazing in my opinion.
2. I don't like the 60's decade because of r*cism, homophobia, misogyny and other flaws but i have to admit it has some interesting musicians like George Harrison, Jim Morrison, Elvis Presley etc etc and that it was a cool decade for songs, but i would hate to live in it.
3. Ignoring memes, i actually and seriously like Chaccaron Maccarron, Numa Numa/Dragostea Din Tei, Caramelldansen and Bring Me To Life, they're amazing songs.

Also, to answer your question, The Beatles broke up, although the only ones left alive are Paul and Ringo (and maybe Jimmie Nicol and Pete Best if they count, but almost everyone knows only Paul, John, George and Ringo when The Beatles are mentioned) so, they're not all dead.

1. In my opinion, the 2000's seemed way more fun than the 90's. Even though that decade has nice music, i wouldn't really like to live in the 90's. The 2000's (especially the late parts, they sound cooler in my opinion) sound cool though because of the first five Digimon seasons (f**k Xros/Fusion no offense), NESTS and Ash Saga King of Fighters games, Guilty Gear XX and Accent Core games, Tsukihime/Kagetsu Tohya/Melty Blood and PS2 MK games look cool as well. Just my opinion, the 2000's seem more fun and interesting.

2. I am okay with Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana. It may be overplayed and overrated in some people's opinions, but in my perspective, hating SLTS doesn't make you more of Nirvana fan and loving it doesn't make you less of it. I am not into Nirvana because i prefer listening to songs with lyrics that have a meaning, though i am okay with it if someone likes Nirvana, even if it's not my thing. However, i am not a complete hater of Nirvana, i'd say i can take Polly and R3pe Me seriously and think they're amazing and actually meaningful songs.

Btw, i actually like That's My Name, it's just that the first time i listened to it, i disliked the voice, but i listened to it more and more and loved it. I know no one reads this but oh well.

Another unpopular opinion:
Anime haters are more toxic than fans, in my opinion at least. I hate that "your opinion is irrelevant if you have anime pfp" meme and i hate that people are making fun of anyone who likes anime and has an anime character or character that looks like anime as their profile picture. Although yeah, some fans can be pretty cringe or annoying as well, but i feel like haters are more toxic, or that may be just me. Although some anime haters can be decent people as well, as long as they don't attack people with anime/something that looks like anime pfps or people who like anime. Either way, i have no idea if it's just me, but it feels like almost (notice how i said almost, i know that not everyone hates anime, but i feel like it receives more hate now than before) everyone hates anime nowadays and that it's a cool thing/trend to hate anime and/or people who like anime.

I think that under certain circumstances, pirated copies of games are fine, especially if actual copies of it are expensive, hard to find, or not available on storefronts like Steam, etc. Plenty of let's say... racing games made during the mid-late 2000s-early 2010s fall under this exception.

These generational disagreements have always bothered me. The idea that everything to come from the present day being inferior to that of the past is an unhealthy mindset to have. Sure, we have fond memories of the activities/media we consumed when we were younger, but desperately clinging onto those memories and never embracing change undermines our progress as human beings.
