Thomas and Friends: All Engine Go is one worst of redesign I ever seen since Mattel has ruined my childhood.
Spyro's redesign in Skylanders, Lobo in New 52, Frost in MK11, Akuma in SFV.
There's probably more but that's just from the top of my head![]()
The transition from The Darkness to The Darkness 2 is very jarring visually and the fact they changed the main character's voice actor on top of that? No thanks.
The majority of Ben 10.
The DmC redesign of Dante. He looked too trashy and edgy for me. Glad they never went anywhere with the character after the game dropped. They went back to continue the previous continuity with Devil May Cry 5's release.
do not know what is aloud.
1. Chris Redfield in RE7 is terrible, looks like the Paradise Lost Singer (nothing against you Nick) xD
2. The last Turtles Live Action Movies looked terrible for the Design of the 4 Turtles
"Take from me all that's untrue
I commend my spirit too
It's here sudden like
Here I am third strike"
Noddy from Noddy: Toyland Detective had the worst character redesign with many characters from the Noddy franchise going absent such as Mr Plod and Tessie Bear (with the exception of Big Ears) over time. The Noddy franchise is so much better being a classic like Noddy's Toyland Adventures and Make Way For Noddy, these are better at least. And also, CGI Fireman Sam (From Season 6-onwards) is even worse because it's not very faithful like the classic stop motion Fireman Sam series. And Not to mention, these seasons are completely disrespectful to the original source material. Have a look at the actual episodes and see what you think. (Oh Did I Forgot to mention the Bob the Builder Reboot, it looks atrocious as well). I mean stop motion is expensive to produce so CGI is cheaper to do so for many Animation industries (And perhaps Aardman from Bristol is also included to this aside the beloved Claymation Creations they produce) today.

jotaro changed too much in part 4
I don't usually unlike the changes in series, I rather accept the directors' choice because they know how they can adapt to trends and modernity, which is an important thing for a strong communication today so I always like when directors change the style of their productions it means creativity and challenge!
Personally, I was fonder of BIOHAZARD 3.5 than the finished 4, I think the "castle version" was more intriguing:

I really dislike how from GT onwards, most animated Dragon Ball stuff has this horrible plastic shine on every single character.
Nidhogg 2 is a really bad one too. I know it was apparently what the makers envisioned since the first one but they just couldn't do it so they went for the minimalist pixel aesthetic, but it ended up being a double edged sword because they accidentally struck gold with the first one's aesthetic and the second one just looks horrible.
Finally (and probably the most controversial one), i think the last time a mainline Street Fighter game looked aesthetically pleasant to me was 3rd Strike. Ever since, i haven't liked how a single one looks. No, not even what we've seen so far of SF6.
Jotaro changed from part 3 to 4
I am not a fan of Ben 10 Omniverse's artstyle. The Ben 10 reboot has a more cartoony artstyle, but that one I don't mind as much because it is its own thing, rather than a continuation. Omniverse just looks off compared to its predecessors.
The redesign between the classic Ben 10s and the modern one. It feels like the shift from the 2003 Teen Titans to TT Go. It's too.. childish, even if the show is meant to appeal to kids.
Honestly, Soul Eater to Soul Eater Not. Soul Eater has an incredible art-style that I really do enjoy, it's one that I think help compliments the show. It especially confuses me since it was Bones who animated both. Same artist and manga creator as well, so it just feels weird they decided to just randomly change the art style for the spinoff. It just feels more like a generic anime with that art style which I wouldn't really want from something related to Soul Eater.
