Knowing how kinda unfair old school MK games were, i knew you were going to mention MK somewhere. Honestly, even if the series are cool and nostalgic, i find the first games a bit annoying because the AI defeats you without effort and they know everything you will do which makes it a bit annoying and frustrating. Though for me, whenever i was about to lose in UMK3, i would just invite player 2 and beat them so, the AI can "restart" to the way it was or something like that and i keep doing that because that's honestly the only way i know how to beat the game without using cheat codes.
That's how i got to Motaro and Shao Kahn, i think. Either way, the series are pretty hard looking back now, though i remember defeating Shao Kahn with Noob Saibot when i was younger.
