When I was a little kid (like 8). I was in my granny's home playing with a tennis ball in the corridor. (No one was in the house but me and granny.) I was hitting the ball against the wall and trying to catch it with one hand. I missed and the ball ricochet went rolling into the drawing room. It was dark and darkness never bothered me that much to be frightened so I went in there in search of the ball without any lights on. I was looking for it on the floor as the room was not pitch black due to the lighting of the corridor and I thought I could find a light green ball on a dark brown carpet.

While I was searching I noticed something unusual on the carpet it seemed to me like two big red circles on the carpet as I focused I realized the looked more like a pair of eyes staring at me back. Just as I realized I saw a smile with sharp crooked teeth grow wider below the eyes. It startled me and I panic-ly ran away from the drawing room straight to my granny. Weird thing is I've been visiting that same house after the incident and I experienced nothing paranormal ever.

As I was young it could've been my wild imagination but at that time it seemed to real to be just a figment of my imagination.

Well, I will try to tell an experience that an acquaintance told me.

She says that one day, she got up too early... She was on her way to her living room and surprisingly saw a very tall woman of approximately 2 meters.... The woman was wearing a white dress and a veil.
She says she couldn't see her face, as it was a bit far away, but she managed to see that the woman was heading to her parents' room.
After seeing the woman enter there, her father was behind her, and asked why she was like this. She explained what she saw and her father, with a little doubt, went to her room to check it out.
Mysteriously the tall woman had disappeared.

I don't think this is actually paranormal or something like that but whatever.

It was at night and I was already in bed, but I was not sleeping, there was a little lamp to read that was on, then something like breaths started to sound, I looked around but there was nothing.
I tried to sleep again but the breaths started to sound again, this time when I looked around there was a very tall and old man with hollow eyes and a frowned expression, he was bald until the middle of the head, then he had very long and gray hair, his skin was very pale and had his hands crossed in the chest. He was there for some time until I looked at the door, where the breaths started to sound again, then everything disappeared.

Well I'm not much of a believer in the paranormal...
But, previously I could hear some mysterious voices on the second floor of my house whenever there was deep darkness. I could never identify what they were really saying, but I didn't have much courage to go see.
Several of my relatives also claimed to hear voices, but when they went to see, there was absolutely nothing.
One day, I also ventured to observe what it was, but when I went up to see there was nothing.
I certainly have no idea what it is!

I would tell you details of where I live, but I think it is more than enough.

I don't think this is actually paranormal or something like that but whatever.

It was at night and I was already in bed, but I was not sleeping, there was a little lamp to read that was on, then something like breaths started to sound, I looked around but there was nothing.

I had similar experience too, that was where I was in the army camp and during sleep time, I heard someone kept on saying "hey" whenever I started to close my eyes. When my officer went into our bunk to check on us, that "hey" voice does not occur. After he left for a few minutes, that "hey" voice started again. The only thing was there wasn't anyone, but only my bunk mates. I asked every of my bunk mates because they could not sleep as well about that "hey" voice and they said that they didn't hear anything.

Less paranormal, more scary:

So a few weeks back, I was driving in my car with my buddy to go down to the big city, as we both live in small towns in our state. We needed to take I-71 to get to this city so we could scope out a hotel as well as spend the day there and maybe get some treats from the japanese marketplace they have in the city. The hotel bit doesn't really matter, we just wanted to see what it was like because we were planing to go to a convention some time next year at that hotel, and I needed to know what I was getting into.

So we're driving down I-71, just shooting the shit, you know the deal, and since i'm the one in charge of driving, I had to maneuver around a bunch of the vehicles driving down I-71. At some point during the drive, I went to pass into the rightmost lane, or the slow lane as some would call it. I needed to get into the rightmost lane because I wanted to chill out from passing and I barely notice this milk tanker next to us. Now keep in mind that, if you don't have the ability to drive, highway driving is really fast and you'll probably be going around 70 miles per hour on the highway, or roughly 105 feet a second. So as we're cruising by this milk tanker, this guy has the brightest idea to just MERGE INTO THE RIGHTMOST LANE, RIGHT WHERE WE ARE, and I don't actually catch this until my friend starts yelling out "WHOOOA."

After my friend signaled to me that I was about to get my *** sidelined by a milk tanker, I took proper evasive maneuvers and ended up on the rumble strips as I pressed on the gas to get out of that situation.

Now what my friend thought was funny about the whole situation was that I wasn't actually freaking out, I was actually relatively calm for someone who could've wrecked out going 70 MPH. I just had to explain to him how I have no time to be freaking out and that safety is a priority in those situations. The tension was broken after my friend told me about how his mom has road rage and how she would've been going at it for a good while. It then became a passing joke throughout the day until my friend cemented the joke as me almost getting isekai'd, which I couldn't help but get a few laughs in about it.

Scary shit, but it is what it is.

I personally don't remember having any scary or paranormal experiences, but my parents told me that when I was a baby, I cried desperately when I approached my grandfather's house as if I had a kind of negative energy there.

Surprisingly, i never know this thread exist.

As @Finola suggested, i use to have paranormal experience. But that was during my childhood. Sometime i do feel something is lurking at corner of my eyes.

Hate to be that guy but it is indeed a series of "scary" experiences:

Not so long ago, northern Mexico was a "battlefield", cartels vs soldiers, dozens of deaths everyday, "narco messages". The situation started escalating when I was in middle school, first all school trips were canceled, then they advice us to reduce any type of meetings outside school and then they started teaching us protocols in case of a shooting. We made some practices of how things should be carried out, I remember we even joke about this, hoping we never have to use it in reality. Then the day came, there was a some uncertainty, the alarm sounded (but it sounded in a very random time not like in the practices that were scheduled), some said it was an actual shooting, others that it was just a practice. I actually didn't hear anything. My school was near a main avenue that in the last days saw some criminal activity. The teachers said it was just a practice (it was clearly not). Sometime passed and we returned to our classes. Not much later parents started arriving school with the intention of taking kids home. By the parents protests, the school decided that it was better to let the students go without repercussions. I, just like my classmates, was excited "NO SCHOOL", partially ignoring everything. I remember that even some kids didn't came the day after. Parents were concerned about the situation with the school, I don't remember what the school said but they all calmed down I guess they did practically nothing but the situation calmed down a little.

Well that was just one of many but I don't want to ruin the thread.

I also have a paranormal experience:

This one didn't happened to me, my father used to use it to scare me. He told me that his uncle (my great uncle) once shared a story of something that happened to him. Long ago, when most of my familiy used to live in the countryside, my uncle in his youth used to go the town's parties, he went every week. He always returned home drunk and if he stayed until late he would walk home. Since those were other times and it was the countryside, he was pretty safe of not being mugged or that anything bad happened to him. One night, when he was returning home he came across with a man on horseback. It was pretty dark so he vaguely described it as a man in very nice clothes riding a black horse. They talked for a little until the horseman proposed him to taking him home with his horse. My uncle started to doubt, he didn't want to walk but he started feeling scared. He still wasn't able to see this man's face, thinking that it might be some acquaintance. When he got near the horse he saw that the horse had intense red eyes. He got scared and started running. Not long after, he was already at home. He told my great grandparents what he saw, they obviously didn't believed him saying that he was just too drunk.

There is a mexican folktale called: "El charro *****" (the black charro, you know, those guys with lasso?), if you encounter it, he will offer you a ride to your destination. If you accept, you won't never get off the horse, with the charro disappearing with you.

Well, the acquaintance I mentioned earlier also had another paranormal experience, but that one happened when she was younger.

She had arrived home a few hours ago after being at school, it was 8:00 PM and she was alone.
As usual, she was playing on her computer quietly... When suddenly the whole environment became cold and she felt someone watching her... Then she turned her head a little and could see a tall man dressed in white, with a hat on his head and some badges...
When she saw him, she ran terrified, and according to her, the man disappeared when she turned to see him.

She claims that she clearly saw a sailor.

I think I mentioned that I don't believe in these things ...
But if there is something that scares me, it is nightmares. One time I felt that I was burning alive ... And I know that was not my worst dream ... Once I dreamed that I woke up from the nightmare and lived another nightmare. What can you expect from it? You feel like ... You don't know where you are. Fortunately that's only a dream in one.
I do not believe in the paranormal, for me it is pure coincidence and many evidences shown are just fake.

I was in the basement alone one time then I saw an illusion or something of a goblin tip toeing across the room extremely fast. That was like 4 years ago.
I don't know if it's a false memory but I remember some weird moaning in a dark room I think my parents closet. This was at a younger age and I wasn't allowed in their room so if the door was open the closet was straight across. I walked in for some reason. Probably to play with some equipment that they would occasionally let me play with but only for a short time. After that I ran straight to my room screaming that there's a ghost. My parents were in the living room/kitchen the whole time but it was probably the wind or my mind playing tricks on me.
Now the absolute youngest. This was around 3 years old. Every night I'd tell my dad to scare away the monster from downstairs. He'd say "Go away monster! Ayayayaya!" and I'd confirm with him whether the monster was gone or not. One time I "saw" the monster. Just imagine Green Goblin from the Spider-Man movie. I got really scared but my dad said he isn't even there. He'd started sounding "angry" and said something like "Go away monster! I won't let you touch my kid!" and then the monster started walking away.

I don't remember too much, and i forgot how old i was back then, but i remember that in balcony, i mistook some clothing for some monster or evil creature, and like a generic shonen anime protagonist, i was dashing and punched the clothing, thinking it was a monster. Boy, is my imagination making my life more fun and interesting.

Well... I remember a few years ago, I was in a place waiting for something... Suddenly, in a room, loud sounds and screams began to be heard. It turns out that it was a person who was possessed and another person was trying to exorcise her...
Someone who told me that the woman rolled her eyes in a strange way and made too sudden movements.

I was a little scared to be in that situation...

This happened when I was like 7 or 8, and I mainly only know about it because my mother told me about it, but apparently I saw some person in white clothes in my room, ran to my mother to show her, but when she came there was nothing there. It was probably my wild imagination, haha.

Really, what spooks me the most is how these two experiences happened to my whole family, in the same house, but not for me:
Several of them keep seeing a woman in white with her back turned towards them, usually in a hallway or a kitchen, but any time they try to approach her she just disappears.
And then there was a time where the rocking chair had a tendency to rock on its own. It wasn't near anything that could make it rock.
