What do you think about branded clothing?

Branded clothing is a quick and effective method of broadcasting one's poor sense of priorities.

The one brand for clothing MY family usually buys is
always from Lands' End. That's it. I don't have any
branded clothing from ADIDAS or Nike or anything
like that. I don't care much about clothing. In fact in
the past whenever my grandparents would get me a
new pair of pants for Christmas, I usually wouldn't care.

Living in a big city I still cannot understand why people go out of their way to burn cash to some corp over some advanced marketing. In the area you see people spending absurd wads of cash at completely-stuffed Gucci stores. I don't think I will ever be able to understand

They're nice, but too flashy for me to wear. I've got at least 2 pairs of Gucci clothing but I don't wear them 'cuz I'd dirty them up, and it'd give people the wrong idea about my monetary status.

Only branded clothing I ever wear has to do with my favorite
video games like Spyro and Super Mario Bros. and Sonic.
