Memorable franchises such as God of War, Gran Turismo,
Ratchet & Clank, Tekken, Devil May Cry, Killzone,
Uncharted, inFAMOUS, etc just a few to name :3
More big/popular in Japan than XBOX.
EyeToy (PS2), Playstation Eye/Move (PS3, the latter
returns on 4) & Playstation VR/Camera (PS4) does alot
better/right than Kinect on the XBOX 360/One
PSN has more Japanese friends than XBOX Live
PS4 has more fighting titles like Switch & unlike XONE
PlayStation consoles were always much more
advanced/distinct/unique unlike the XBOX ones
PS2 also has way much cartoon games than OG XBOX too
PS5's DualSense controller has the best/comfy-lookin' feel
coupled by haptic feedback & adaptable triggers
DualShock wireless controllers are charged by USBs unlike
the XBOX ones which are charged by AA Batteries
Their consoles' GUIs since XrossMediaBar from the PSP
are too easy/simple/straightfoward to use
PS3 despite being too old is nowadays advanced/best-
lookin' & can stand up for today's standards.
Many quality exclusives aged very well like wine in
graphical terms & still look great for today even if you plug
this in a 4K/8K tv.
Offered real competition to Nintendo mainly when it
comes to handheld gaming, as a result: the PSP proved to
have superior graphics than that of the DS, their PS VITA
handheld was also incredible that sadly Sony isn't working
on portable systems anymore.
The PSX/2/3 proved to make the CD/DVD/Blu-Ray an
arguably more popular storage for videogame consoles.
PS2 was the home for many blockbuster franchises that
started here such as Devil May Cry, Kingdom Hearts,
God of War etc.
Brazil (where i was born), Japan & even the entire Europe
couldn't care less to XBOX & Gamecube, PS2 was their
no.1 personal favorite console, not to mention in brazil the
OG XBOX costed alot money even to play at renting stores
not only at buying ones, not to mention PS2 was too easy
to hack/softmod unlike other consoles which
overshadowed the OG XBOX for good (even the GC!) being
the main reason why i (alongside other brazilians) only
owned a PS2 Slim at the time when i was a kid, not the
GC/OG XBOX (Brazil really hates expensive products!!!), &
the PS2 was also big/popular at here thanks to the piracy
which was caused by it's DVD capabilities, or Sony's
brutal/huge sellin' point/weapon for their 6h gen console,
The PS2.
Etc.
