Alex. Something about a street guy from New York being the world champion against a god-like being's tournament seems really cool. Plus he introduced me to the "Grappler" play style and I love it. Currently main him in 3rd Strike and SFV.

Charlie Nash. He's the first guy to ever defeat M.Bison in a 1v1 and even managed to stay confident throughout the fight. He's so manly death couldn't even take him, Charlie's sacrifice was the only way to pass on.

My favourite is Chun Li for obvious reasons. So obvious that I won't go into detail. But she is so popular that saying she is your "favourite" is a given. So I'll also give my second fave which took a little more effort to decide and has more depth in terms of picking him as a favourite. Dhalsim to me is unique and weird. His yoga concept is fascinating from him weighing next to nothing to fire powers.

Gouki/Akuma, especially his SF3 version, something about slamming the ground with your fist and explosions occur just appeals to me, and say nothing of the "Isshun Sengeki" in his recent versions.
