Older SF games = Ryu, Cammy and Balrog.

SFV = Cody, Cammy, Ryu and Balrog.

But Chun-Li... ooo wee!

When i was a kid, my main in SFA was Sodom and in SF3 was Alex. I used to play only with grapplers, but nowadays i learned how to play with characters of different gameplay styles (I consider myself good with Karin, Elena, Guile, Chun-Li, Cody), but for me, nothing like playing with good old Ryu.

Honestly, the majority of the characters pre-SF3 are pretty solid. I felt like the character designs really started jumping the shark in that game.

I mean, Remy is based off of Iori Yagami, what'd you expect?

That aside, my favorites are Sakura (my #1 favorite), Makoto (who I think is the best character in the franchise), Akuma, and Guy thus far.
