    Beware Help! Big portraits issue

    Well... i was trying to make a screenpack here and when i set a cool hd portrait, shit start to happen.

    When i set a cool portrait for KFM:

    Fits perfectly well on the screen

    When i set the same cool portrait for every single other char:

    a weird thing happens with some zoom on the image and f*cks the image size
    (i can't put images to show what's going on)
    am i doing something wrong? help please

    OOOOOOOOOOOOH now we going some where.
    @marlleyilson

    okay Kfm720 have code command on his kfm720.def you can see that its here
    and that code commad is

    ; Player information
    [Info]
    name = "Kung Fu Man 720" ;Name of character
    displayname = "Kung Fu Man" ;Name of character to display
    versiondate = 09,30,2009 ;Version of character (MM-DD-YYYY or X.XX)
    mugenversion = 1.0 ;Version of M.U.G.E.N character works on (X.XX)
    author = "Elecbyte" ;Character author name
    pal.defaults = 1,2,3,4 ;Default palettes in order of preference (up to 4)
    ;Numbering starts from 1
    localcoord = 1280,720 ;Local coordinate space width and height
    if you go to your other Mugen characters Def File you notices they dont have the

    localcoord = 1280,720
    but keep in mind that if you add this code localcoord = 1280,720 to all your characters this will fix the Portraits issue BUT
    how ever this will cause your Mugen Characters to become SMALL....on your mugen screen

    SO HOW DO YOU GO ABOUT FIXING THIS ??
    WELL THAT SIMPLE
    Dont use KFM720 but Use Normal KFM or Normal Mugen Character without this command localcoord = 1280,720

    okay now the next thing your going to do is Add your HD portrait to all YOUR NORMAL HI RES CHARACTERS INCLUDING NORMAL KFM OR HD CHARACTER WITH NO LOCALCOORD

    THEN go to your SYSTEM.DEF and scroll down and find this code command

    Big portraits
    p1.face.spr = 9000,1 ;Do not change from 9000,1
    p1.face.offset = -20,28 ;Position to put big portrait
    p1.face.scale = 1,1
    p1.face.facing = 1
    p2.face.spr = 9000,1
    p2.face.offset = 660,28
    p2.face.scale = 1,1
    p2.face.facing = -1

    I dont do HD so Im going to show you as an example with a my 640X480 screen pack but its works ether way

    DO YOU SEE HOW iM GOING YO USE THESE 2 PORTRAIT RIGHT ?
    https://i.imgur.com/SzEfhOt.png

    Okay now Im going to add them to my my 640X480 screen pack
    https://i.imgur.com/Ozb3arA.png

    now Im going to fix it by playing with the value number setting for p1.face.scale = 1,1 and p2.face.scale = 1,1
    becuase Im using 640X480 screen pack Im going to change to .25,.25 on p1.face.scale and p2.face.scale =
    I made the chages to this code here

    ;Big portraits
    p1.face.spr = 9000,1 ;Do not change from 9000,1
    p1.face.offset = -20,28 ;Position to put big portrait
    p1.face.scale = .25,.25
    p1.face.facing = 1
    p2.face.spr = 9000,1
    p1.face.window = 0,0, 739,959 <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<REMOVE THIS CRAP
    p2.face.offset = 660,28
    p2.face.window = 0,0, 739,959 <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<REMOVE THIS CRAP
    p2.face.scale = .25,.25
    p2.face.facing = -1

    Making these changes I just made the two portrait fix inthe screen perfect where I wanted.
    https://i.imgur.com/HA1vE3U.png

    also Be sure to play with the p1.face.offset and p2 .face.offset to position they way you want them

    This will fix your Port with Normal character and Normal HIres character. I never TRUST Mugen CHaracter that have localcoord = 1280,720 becuase that can be a issue and can force to make all character small whem tampering with the localcoord setting on mugen character
    that why is best to play with the number value for Big portraits and position them they you wanted :D

    JUST STAY AWAY FROM localcord WITH Characters on there def file becuase that setting will for them to become super tiny
    the localcord for mugen character that are HD type huge sprite for down scale Setting keep that In mind

    anyways I am happy I could help you out
