Gallade, Necrozma, and Xurkitree have always been some of my favorites. I thought some new mons like Urshifu (rapid strike), Sirfetch'd, and Galarian Zapdos were really neat too.

Chandelure without a doubt. I love its creepy, gothic-like aesthetics, and sure its lore is a little edgy, but it only adds more fuel to its fire :^)
Best pre-evos though are Spheal and Wooper. Fight me.

butterfree. has an accuracy boost, sleep powder, and can learn giga drain and psychic which does at least 30 dmg to a dragonite of its same level. I once took out the entire elite four using nothing but my butterfree. I just kept using ethers or whatever the item is called (don't remember) to restore my pp cuz psychic only has 10 hits b4 a visit to the pokecenter. I was playing Fire Red if you're curious.
