First, one I can actually remember playing was the original Spider-Man on the Playstation 2. I used to think I was just imagining that you could play as the goblin but apparently I had a better memory than I thought.

I'm a Sonic 2 lad myself. I think you have a special appreciation for the Genesis Sonic games if you played them over and over as a little kid. I feel like someone picking up and playing it for the first time now might only do a single runthrough, shrug and move on. And that's fine if that's how you wanna play games but SEGA always had a certain arcade style philosophy when it came to making game replayable and more rewarding once you start to master the controls.

Its a tie between Ace Combat 04, Midnight Club 1 and Burnout Revenge. My parents insist that I started on PS1 but I clearly remember trying NBA Live 97 after playing so much PS2 games.

I think the first video game I ever played was Super Mario Sunshine! I was pretty young and it'd just come out. If you mean fighting game, then that's the DBZ Budokai games. We'd found it at a thrift store and I thought it looked pretty neat.
