It used to be that suicide was rare, but nowadays people are doing it all the time.

You know, it's always sad especially when someone either gets buried in the ground,
or cremated and put into a little urn, when you know in your heart because you knew
the person and knew the problems they had that they actually put THEMSELVES there.
That's really tragic. ;*(
I don't know, suicide was kinda always a thing, but the opinions and reactions depends on the people you talk to and focus on. Some frown on it, while some find it sad. Can't judge a whole humanity by what few people think. However, i think that suicide rates have, somehow, increased somewhere in the 2010's. (2016 maybe?) So, less people did it in the 2000's, the 90's and earlier, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen. Besides, lots of things happen that we know and don't know, but we comment on these we know.

Exactly, and when you see their dead body... It makes me want to cry. It depends on what they want, but even then, both are sad in some way. I think i said it and i will repeat again, i don't wanna be cremated because i want my body as evidence that i ever lived. Cremating has some uncomfortable feeling to it, because it feels like that person was never alive to begin with.
