Some of them are and some of them aren't. One person on this thread said their
cat constantly attacks them. And have you ever seen the Animal Planet show
"My Cat From Hell"?

Dogs, I love dogs.
I don't like cats because they come into the house and go through everything looking for food, besides, they are peeing and pooping on the furniture (I say this from experience).

Well, my cat never pooped in the house unless we forgot to let him
in the garage so he could take a dump in his litterbox, but every cat's
different, and the experience with each individual pet is always different.
Also, as well-behaved as my cat was, if people left their dinners or lunches
out, he would eat them, and he would also eat pieces of food that fell on the
floor at dinner time. Whenever we had flowers in a vase he would try to eat
them, too, and in fact he actually knocked a flower vase off a table and broke
it once LOL

Well, I've never had a cat, but I said that because the cats that kept invading my house belong to a neighbor.
To make matters worse, this neighbor's cats are still meowing and fighting each other during the night, there are times I can't even sleep because of it.

Wow. As much as I LOVE cats, that sounds REALLY annoying! I don't
think even an animal lover like me would have the patience to put up
with that. My advice would be to sleep with earplugs, and if that doesn't
work, maybe you should consider moving. Maybe somewhere much
nicer, and quieter.

Cats. To all you dog-lovers out there, I'm sure poochykins is nice and all, but that's the problem. I cannot stand pure, overwhelming, unrestrained positivity for longer than a minute. I'd much rather have a pet that comes to me when it feels like it wants to, and then hiss at me and leave.

well dogs are related to wolves which is pretty cool but creatures like lions, leopards, jaguars, and more are really cool and kittens are adorable, dog's are really cool too, and cute In my opinion I couldn't decide between any dog and any cat it's like comparing people it depends on which cat and which dog

Yeah, plus it's always really cute when they sit and purr on your lap,
which my cat did a LOT. I really miss him. He died exactly two years
ago. :*(

Not always...depends on their personality. I mean, the cat I had loved
me and my family and would be sweet and purr on our laps and sit
next to us and comfort us when we were sick but he COULD sometimes
be a little demanding. He would basically meow every time he wanted
something....he would meow when he needed to be let out in the garage
to go to the bathroom, he would meow at us whenever he wanted food
and he would (constantly) meow at us to pet him LOL. He was also a
very LOUD cat. He would meow so loudly we could hear it from all
the way across the house; he had no volume control. XD

He cared about all of us as much as he cared about himself, and wasn't
a selfish cat by any means, but he (could) at different times come across
as being demanding. But he loved us dearly, and that balanced things out.
He wasn't a selfish cat. He was just...really vocal, according to one of the
vets who examined him once. XD

Oh, yeah-another thing that was amusing about him; every year around
Christmastime when we put the Christmas tree up, he would try to eat
it.
