    Yet another MUGEN ARCHIVE upgrade

    http://i.imgur.com/FeGtb32.gif

Another day, another upgrade on the MUGEN ARCHIVE to implement ever more exciting new features.
And this one is big too so expect another newsletter soon enough.

Essentially stage metadata has been added and character metadata has been improved.
Many little annoying issues have also been fixed. Other enhancements, you'll notice over time.

Regarding character metadata, our scripts can now detect characters AI much more accurately than before and the number of animations has been added to the stats, to give you ever more insight.

The stage metadata will provide an excellent level of documentation : resolution and compatibility, stage height and length, features such as animations, parallax or zoom.

If you like these new enhancements, now may be the time to donate or support us through the ads. This is the best way to see ever more exciting new features added in the future. The best has yet to come.

Men must become more then men, and gears must become more then gears.

    Peace.

    Default Metadata: A.I. detection issue

I do love the new Metadata, and that the A.I. can be detected more accurately in characters, but that part still needs to be worked on.

These are the characters that I've found thus far that are said to have no A.I. detected, yet they clearly do have A.I.

    Yagumo EX

Unfortunately, I'm sure that there are more. I do appreciate the system that has been put in place, but more work has to be done in order to detect it. Maybe more people can post the A.I. that they have seen in characters, even though it states that they don't have A.I.

    Thank you, friend.

I've looked into some of these files and it seems they use non standard AI, which isn't detected by our scripts. I can't promise they'll be supported though, as it would be a lot of work for very minor formats. Besides stuffing the AI detection with too many routines would likely increase the risk of false positives. So overall this may not be such a good idea.

Unfortunately AI never had a rock solid definition and programming language in MUGEN, especially older MUGEN releases which had very little standards.

Default Re: Metadata: A.I. detection issue

I do understand, and had figured a little while later after making the post that this was the case. If it can be possible (unless it's too much work), for the ones that had been found to have A.I. by different means, could an asterisk be placed next to the word "no" in not detecting A.I., and that asterisk can indicate that the A.I., by the way that it's currently formatted, was actually found by other users to exist in a non-standard way of detecting it?
