I rewatched these two movies along with watching the first Winx Club movie tonight and they are the cinematic equivalent to glittery vomit (unlike the first WC movie which was alright).:

@Punchy McKickems The first Mortal Kombat movie is a fine guilty pleasure you donīt really see every day. I havenīt seen the second one but I have always heard it was an utter abomination. What was so bad about it? Even cheaper and took itself too seriously?

The costume designs look so, so awful in annihilation. Whenever Shao Khan talks or moves his mouth, the very obvious rubber helmet bounces around. Cyrax and Baraka look like very cheap halloween costumes, more so than the outfits in the first movie. Actual reused shots. For example, in the final fight scene between shao khan and liu kang, liu gets into a fight pose, not thirty seconds later, they reuse the same shot of him getting in the fight pose. There's a scene where shao khan throws Rain into a pit of fire. Later in the movie, Liu kicks Baraka into a different pit, they just reuse the shot of Rain falling instead. They kill off johnny cage in the first ten minutes of the film. The actor playing raiden is not Christopher Lambert, but James Remar. The acting itself is godawful. Despite being listed as a main actress, sheeva doesn't get a fight scene. What she gets is Liu kang dropping a cage on her killing her when she walks into a room. I could go on forever with this film, but the main reason for all of this is the budget. They tried to be way too ambitious with this one, and their budget just ran out, and had to make due. If i'm wrong on anything I said, someone please correct me.

Anyway's I know it's cliche to say, but I had to force myself to watch birdemic. It was fun to make fun of for the first fifteen minutes. But I wanted to die twenty minutes in. It just keeps going and going. Selfie from hell, or selfie man (It changes its title, but its the same exact movie. Dunno why) was so painfully bad. Go in expecting supernatural horror movie. Two thirds of it is fake dark web fluff. Horrible acting with (I think) four cast members and like four different settings.

Oh! I know that Haxan movie, in my case it appeared after watching the Cabinet of Dr Caligari.

The gorillas were emeritus assholes in those films, completely obtuse, on the other hand they represented the militia ... typical in that kind of film criticizing the military system representing in that way
Cabinet of Doctor Caligari ... have you seen it? This is good, it means that I was not wrong about you, you have an excellent cinematographic culture
Sometimes, talking to friends here on the site, I feel like crying ... many of them don't know who Stanley Kubrick or Federico Fellini is ... :(

You are right, and they probably are meant to be as unappealing as possible. What I meant is that he also feels like an obnoxious version of some cartoon character to me.
Yes, but everybody knows about that movie.

I never watched this movie but it surely can be posted here.

Another film that I wanted to see after learning about it by watching Tim Burton's Ed Wood

Well, I generally watch more "so bad it's good" movies than "actually good" movies so I'd have to separate my usual entertainment from the genuinely displeasing experience. I can't very well say anything by Ed Wood is "bad", I love those movies.

In which case I'd have to say the worst movie I ever saw was Criminally Insane 2/Crazy Fat Ethel 2, Master of Disguise or Year One with Jack Black.

Glen or Glenda's a classic, Manuz, absolutely watch it.

I have all or almost all Ed Wood films in my collection, I have more than 10000 films in total and the 'worst' of this thread, for me, equates to a 'so bad so good', so I agree with you
Ok, to be honest, not all the films I mentioned here are 'so bad so good', some are just ugly, junk, but still somehow funny, not without charm, in their own way ...

    Excellent. We are now friends.

I wouldn't be doing my national duty if a thread like this existed and I didn't mention Russian Terminator and Ninja Mission. Swedish-made English-language B-movie cheese by a weird director almost as enigmatic as Tommy Wiseau.

I would like to talk about cinema more often and more actively on this site, even if I realize it is not the most suitable place
But there are three basic problems
Point 1 As I wrote some time ago, here many people don't know who Stanley Kubrick, Federico Fellini, George Romero or any other great director are
Step 2 I use an Android smartphone and this obsolete site hinders me greatly with its limitations
Point 3 Many films that I would like to talk about here, deal with adult issues, and the internal rules of the site prohibit me from posting gore / splatter scenes or anything else that is considered harmful to a minor by the so-called well-meaning people who are culturally killing our society
    Sorry for my shitty english

Well, age groups and all that.

'Sides, I think everyone should have a duty to watch at least a bit of Hitchcock before they move on to Kubrick.

And for the sake of being on topic, Invasion USA. The 50s film, not the 80s film. Delightfully tone deaf cold war movie. Was on Mystery Science Theater.
