I'm generally a fan of horror movies but for the life of me I just don't see what people like about the SAW films. It's not that they're mindless gorefests (they are, but that can be fun) but I have never seen a single character in any of the SAW movies (and I have been forced to sit through them all... never date a SAW fan, guys) that was likable. Every character was a chode, every character. Even Jigsaw himself was ruined by being a self-righteous prig who delusionally believed he was teaching his victims something, it's like dude, just admit you like throwing people into deathtraps.

I also concur with Ax that most everything being released these days is garbage due to Hollywood wanting to preach to people now rather than entertain them.
