    Default Attacks Not Working When Character is Walking Into Opponent

    Currently making my first Mugen character, and I've never used Fighter Factory before, so I'm sorry if this question has an easy answer.

    All my attacks work fine for the most part, except for a small bug

    when my character walks "into" the opponent, the attack will not play, instead it flashes the first frame of the attack animation and goes right back to his walking animation.

    This bug only happens when they are walking "into" the opponent, the attack animation works fine when they are walking anywhere else.

    I've tinkered with the CNS file, the commands, the collision boxes on the animation, and nothing seems to fix the problem, I've searched for a answer, but no luck.

    If anyone knows the answer to the problem, please don't hesitate to let me know.

    Not sure how you character can walk into the opponent then attack but please post the code of the attack stateno and also the changestate code in your statedef -1. Not sure if anyone can help you othewise.

    Welp. You done forgot something very basic. A serious bit of advice: Always reference other characters.

    So here's the very first part of a statedef for a basic attack:

    Code:
    [Statedef 200]
    type    = S
    movetype= A
    physics = S
    juggle  = 1
    velset = 0,0
    ctrl = 0
    anim = 200
    poweradd = 10
    sprpriority = 2
    See that ctrl = 0? Yeah, every attack needs to have that. In fact, pretty much anything your character does that isn't a basic, hardcoded action, needs to set ctrl to 0.
