    Question Is it possible to make the target 1 unable to move?

    I got the HitDef working and it returns target 1 if it hits normally however one thing is that I cannot process how do certain fighters make other fighters unable to move without pausing the whole game, for example, Sub-Zero. I looked at their source but I found zero clues, can someone at least tell me what is the State Type that gets it working??

    Ive only used them a few times so I can't walk you through it but you'll need to use a custom state for p2. Try to find a video on custom states. Youd code it similar to a grab I believe

    or in you increase the groundhittime and the second number of your hittime=some number, some number within your hitdef
    for example if you make hittime = 1,200 you will pause for one tick (which is way less than a second if you dont know what a tick is) and the enemy will remain frozen in their hurt animation for 200 ticks

    well what you can do is just increase the pausetime in the hitdef state of that move. it'll say, pause time = #,#. The first number is player 1. The 2nd is player 2. If you mean a freeze attack entirely, that's different and required cooperation between both character files for turning blue when frozen and all that.
