Gentaro Kisaragi from Kamen Rider Fourze is a big one for me, I absolutely love that character and all of his antics with the Kamen Rider Club. He's very much a "good for the sake of good" type, but he's always just a joy when he's on screen.

From Anime: Lelouch Lamperouge from Code Geass. I'm strongly biased because that was one of the very first animes I ever watched. His whole arc and the way his character develops through hardship is just amazing.
As for classic arcade fighting games: Rock Howard from Garou: Mark of the Wolves. I find it kind of badass that he's the son of Fatal Fury's main villain, but it's ultimately turned to the 'good side' by the protagonist of the same games. But honestly, I just love all the hardwork SNK put into his sprites and moves. Of all the King of Fighters characters, I believe he has the most fluent animations; the way his jacket reacts so vividly with each move really sells the impact of his strikes

Normally I'm more drawn to side characters, but...

When I first watched Naruto, I found Naruto really obnoxious, but upon rewatch I felt like I "got" him much more and found him a really well done character and a lot more likeable.

Kaladin, Dalinar and Shalon from The Stormlight Archives are all really well written protagonists.

Kirby is a real chill dude.
