Help with a surprise project for my friend birthday

Hey guys, i need some help. Maybe its not cool what i want to do, but is only for fun... I want to change de sprites of the characters from a Mortal Kombat 3 mugen, but i want the change the sprites putting my friends and me insted the charactes, i have the sprites of my friends, but i dont know how to change.

change them in fighter factory in the sprites tab. but you gotta make sure the sprites of your friends is the same color palette of the character you're replacing, or you gotta make a new palette entirely and scrap the old one. So in short, youtube, mugen palette tutorials.

Yeah check out ryon on YouTube he has good tutorials. Just know that you might have to line up the effects and stuff from the moves again. A lot of effects are centered on the character sprite so some move effects might be off if the new sprites are different than the old ones.
