What do you miss about life before Coronavirus?
Sorry if someone already made this kind of thread.
Like the title of this thread says, what do you miss about life before the Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic?
For me, i miss few things...
1. Not having to wear masks. I feel like i am choking whenever i put these masks on, but they are necessary though.
2. I hate to say it, but i kind of miss the "normal" school before Coronavirus as well. Even if school is an unpleasant place to go to, and even if i hate school, it still had some special feeling about it that i can't define, i hate school, but i love it at the same time. I have no idea how to say it. Life felt more fun with school, even if i felt violent and angry, i have to admit.
3. Going outside way more often. I still love going outside, but there was some different feeling about going outside when Corona wasn't around, it felt more 'refreshing' if you know what i mean.
Can't remember what else i miss, but yeah, these are few things i miss about life before Corona.
What about you?

This virus has caused a lot of problems, honestly.
I have no idea how to say it, i love going outside, but since Coronavirus still exists, going outside feels a bit "off" and weird. I can't describe it, but this virus made things feel strange and it's really problematic.

Me too. If Coronavirus was a human being, it would be a great punching bag. If Coronavirus was a human being, i would kill it without mercy, but then, i would likely get arrested though.

Re: What do you miss about life before Coronavirus?
The prices of products not being so dang high.

Re: What do you miss about life before Coronavirus?
Going to college. My college had more amenities than my own house (yeah it's kind of sad): Better wifi, having my "friends" around, better food (I'm bad at cooking), and well, open areas, I feel kind of locked by staying in my house most of the time.
I also miss those random parties or "meetings" with my friends.
-
Re: What do you miss about life before Coronavirus?
- my above tyrant neighbors traveled to other country during their noisy brats' school holiday and it was mostly quiet at those times
- going out for almost a whole day

Re: What do you miss about life before Coronavirus?
Grocery shopping. As in buying real food.
It's literally impossible for me to do any actual grocery shopping because I work evenings. I commute to a decent city where I could do some grocery shopping before work, but then there's the possibility that my food will then sit in the car for 12 hours. So, yeah. Anything that spoils easily (milk) or has to remain frozen is a complete no-go. And to add further insult to injury, all of the local fast-food places close early, so if I want to eat out on my days off, I have to do it much earlier than I normally would.

Hanging out with my friends...

Yup, it feels like you never truly appreciate a moment until it becomes a memory. I had few complaints in life before Corona came, but now, i am just thinking about how normal life used to feel and how i miss that normal life when i didn't have to wear masks when shopping something. But hey, i am kind of a positive person so, i really hope this won't last forever, especially since we are pretty close to 2021, but problems won't magically disappear, it takes time and patience.

Re: What do you miss about life before Coronavirus?
Being able to travel freely with my family and adventure.
-
Re: What do you miss about life before Coronavirus?
Going outside, I know you can go with a mask but I'm just too afraid to go out with EVEN a mask, I have more chances of dying by it (since I'm overweight) and I'm not risking my life, my only way of venting... gone for a while... ;-;

I miss going outside as well. OK, i know you can still go outside, but it just doesn't feel the same now with Coronavirus around. I hate having to wear masks, i feel like i am choking everytime.

Same here, my cooking skills reaches to cooking rice or pasta. Cooking an actual dish can take me HOURS! The hardest meal I ever cooked was fried rice with pork. It was supposed to be a lunch ended being an early dinner.

Re: What do you miss about life before Coronavirus?
Not having to lapse into survivalist OCD with every grocery trip or venture to a heavily populated urban center.
-
Re: What do you miss about life before Coronavirus?
I miss going out without having to wear a mask, except that nothing has changed for me with the arrival of the virus, my life is quite peaceful. as I have no friends, i rarely leave my home, nothing better than being in the comfort and safety of a controlled environment.

Re: What do you miss about life before Coronavirus?
Being able to go to basketball games to either watch or play in. Especially playing in tournaments was something I really enjoyed and did well in. Now that things are starting to clear up, I am able to play a little bit now.

Re: What do you miss about life before Coronavirus?
I miss going to concerts. Bars with the boys. Not wearing masks, obviously. Having seasonal allergies+ wearing a mask do not mix well. I work 10 hours a day and I die the entire time.
-
Re: What do you miss about life before Coronavirus?
the massive events of course, I miss going to the concert of "The Ramones" hahaha
-
Re: What do you miss about life before Coronavirus?

Re: What do you miss about life before Coronavirus?
One thing I miss prior to the pandemic is the confidence I used to have when it came to interacting with people. Now I'm so used to being shut off, I've receded back to how I was socially in high school, an utter mess.
-
Nothing.
Working from home, browsing internet all day and wasting my money on japanese toys, little to no human interaction, time to work in my art or play with my pets, this is my best period of my life and Im super happy
Also the mask are cool, I fell more confident getting outside with a mask.
