and Thanos, his special is awesome.

Well, my fav is Z2 Son Goku.

I like big headed Akuma XD, he is fun to use
and Pocket Size Jiren, but different genre of fighter.

I like how people change charge characters to simple input. Guile,Bison,Vega,Balrog and the like with shoto input are some of my favorites

I haven't really been into mugen for a very long time but one of my favorite characters is Porky Minch (don't really know his author) from the Mother series.

Still pretty new to MUGEN (wasn't able to play it until recently due to screwing up the download/installation of characters), but I'll agree w/ the OP on Guts; Berserk is one of my favorite manga of all time (though like every other fan, I dislike the new anime's excessive use of CG in it).

I'm kind of new to MUEGN as well, if only due to how I'm finally starting to actually get into it after being on and off of it for the past couple of years, but I'd have to say that my favorite character so far is S.Y.D.'s version of Kung-Fu Girl, "Another Kung Fu Girl Z". Not only because I really like her playstyle (as well as the tons of specials she can do), but also because of just how much personality and character her animations and spritework show; sure, there are a bunch of characters in MUGEN that exhibit a lot of character and personality, but for most of them you can go back to the source material of those characters and understand them from that, to the point where a good portion of people who download said characters would already know how those characters are supposed to be like prior to downloading them, whereas on the other hand KFG is a completely original character for MUGEN with no source material to go by, and yet despite this you can tell exactly what her overall character and personality is just by her actions alone. I don't often see that occur with that many other original characters for MUGEN, at least not to the extent of KFG, and because of that she's my favorite character in MUGEN as of this moment.

(Also, apologies for the paragraph-like answer, I just wasn't sure how else to properly explain why I liked her so much)

My favorite would have to be Akame by AnToR_M from the anime Akame ga Kill

I loved how Reisen played in Hisoutensoku, since then, she's my favorite character
In mugen my favorite char is the original Ronald McDonald, He's broken but I find him really fun to play as

That's a tough question, I'd have to get back to you with regular Mugen.
With h♥♥♥ai based Mugen it'd be DDC, Kuromaru, and Abe.

The Nones Giygas is my favorite. It's just so random and chaotic I love it.

Chuck Norris should be my favorite since he's imba but i choose Homer Simpson

My favorite character would have to be Stryder because he was my first ever mastered character. It was because of him that I learned how to actually play most fighting games.
Ronald McDonald is close second though. :D

Favorite Mugen character is Mr. Ansatsuken's Akuma, just so much crammed into one character, honestly didn't even know it was possible to do such things with a single character. Also it's really fun to beat the hell out of enemies with Akuma's kick-*** theme playing in the background!

My favorite mugen character is also Guts :grin:. I use him often when I use my MUGEN engine.

My favorite character is pretty much any variant of Dio from Jojo's Bizzare Adventure. There's nothing like playing a flamboyant vampire against other characters.

I have this really cool Deadpool that I love playing, but I'm also a big fan of stupid stuff like Colonel Sanders.

My favorite are Felicia and Master Chief. The Gundam MUGEN fighters are also very good (and broken) such as the Strike and Aegis from Seed.

Also If anybody out there that has the time to be helpful enough to tell me. How do you exactly get promoted? How active do you have to be? What do I have to do? I checked a forum for this but it wasn't exactly clear about it as it didn't answer the questions I had in mind. It's impossible for me to be on all the the time. Heck I can only go on here once a week!

Dark Donald will always be my favorite MUGEN fighter

I would always say the guy who my sister downloaded for me the first time we played and that was Yoshikage Kira

My favourite is split between Duke Nukem and Gao Gai Gar. Both have good combos, abilities, and special features.

Any character vs Catwalk is always funny to watch at least for me
