I started making a Street Fighter vs King of Fighters game in Mugen 1.1 using characters from the HD remix and KOF XIII...and I come to find that some either don't work, are too tall/small, or don't mesh well stylistically. Sucks.
I tried using cracaters from fullgames. Turns out some fullgames are programmed differently than vanilla Mugen. Now I know.
Anything else we should know that I've missed?
I havn't gotten to play as a lot yet, but I have to say; TIfa Lockhart is my favorite so far.
Blossom from the Powerpuff Girls hands down by DoomGuy2nd. ^^; I do need some more ideas for characters to download though.

My First exposure to Mugen was back in 2007. The first Mugen video I saw was, no joke, called "Not Another Stupid Little Drill Tank SSD Survival"
My favorite has to be Yuuki Konno from Sword Art Online II, she has good combos and great special attacks.
It might have been asked before, but did someone do the DooMguy and some monsters for Mugen?
I wish there was some balanced chars created from the DooM franchise and some of its major WADs like Brutal DooM or Project Brutality.
Congrats on not being a lurker anymore. Also picking a favorite chatacter would be difficult considering I download a bunch, mash a few buttons to test them, and download more.

mugen isn't a really good idea for consoles unless they're able to make a mod page for console like skyrim did before the paid mods striked. uwuQuote:

I don't know if I can call it a favorite yet as I just started on my mugen venture but I downloaded a megaman from some random site and when I played against it he was listed as megaman clone looked injured with no health but I couldn't damage him and he could instantly kill me in one or two hits. Notsure what he was made for but interesting either way
I'll say two out of my many favorites to play as are Iris (Gamera) and Bagan+ (Godzilla).

You'd have to jailbreak the console and then add Mugen. Don't think Mugen could ever really work in the environment of a console that is not jail broken. That's a key reason why I switched back to PC; console doesn't allow for much creativity. So, the experience gets stale quickly. I'm still honestly surprised anyone buys consoles anymore.Quote:

'Allo, I'm rather new to fighting games , but by far my favorite character so far is probably Angelia Avallone. The air-juggles she can manage are just fun to pull off honestly. On that note, anyone know of any other characters who might better fit the whole "air combat" playstyle?
By "air combat", do you mean characters that commonly juggle their opponents in the air, or simply characters that fly?Quote:
