Your Concept Of A Perfect Fighting Game
I just want to know what people think a perfect fighting game should be like)
Personally, i think it should have not many, but pretty good characters that can have 3 versions of themselfs like in MKX
Stages must be interactive to the max and have background chars that will react to your fighting
Also, i want a great lore like in Warcraft and monthly DLC
Write down what ya think below

Re: Your Concept Of A Perfect Fighting Game
perfect with a lot of sexy girls. c mon u know 3d girls rockin like jagger^^
Re: Your Concept Of A Perfect Fighting Game
Probably third strike with a bit more of a roster and a bit more combo focused, not long combos though, more like 4-7 move combos doing around the same damage as 2 - 3 hard knockdowns.
Though Skullgirls comes pretty close to a perfect fighter for me.
One thing I do really like to have in fighting games is a parry though.
Re: Your Concept Of A Perfect Fighting Game
I don't play fighting games all that much, but to me, what makes a fighting game is a good sized selection of characters (my pick being 20-25), good music, and fun gameplay.

Re: Your Concept Of A Perfect Fighting Game
It should include characters and stages that make sense. Plus high resolution
Re: Your Concept Of A Perfect Fighting Game
Balanced, diverse, trippy, sexy, fun. Whatever I can get drunk or high to, can still play and be like woah.
Re: Your Concept Of A Perfect Fighting Game
balanced..is best
but it's hard
Re: Your Concept Of A Perfect Fighting Game
I can add characters and do a lot of customization to my Mugen which makes it the perfect fighting game for me.
Re: Your Concept Of A Perfect Fighting Game
Tekken is good for gameplay buttons (left/right kick/punch) and some juggling elements. Street Fighter is cool for fireballs and supers. King of Fighters is cool for ... fashionable characters and multiple combos (like qcf, hcb,sp ryo sakazaki). Mix these elements and you have the best fighter . :D
One more thing: no nudity. It's a fighting game, not ****. Nudity, half nudity or else just distract from the game.
One other thing: no kids, manga-like girls, fantasy stuff. Make it real, real warriors. And no weapons like katanas which don't cut (as for Yoshimitsu), or easter egg characters like Dan.
Oh, let's mention also Art Of Fighting: those faces changing their shape according to damage, really nice idea if applied to all body, including clothes.
Re: Your Concept Of A Perfect Fighting Game
IMO, the perfect fighting game would have easy to learn controls, balanced gameplay, really cool supers, and of course, an awesome story!
Re: Your Concept Of A Perfect Fighting Game
for me it would be balanced with good gameplay + good OST and interesting chars.
Re: Your Concept Of A Perfect Fighting Game
A fusion of Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, King of Fighters, Tekken, and JoJo
Re: Your Concept Of A Perfect Fighting Game
All I need from a fighting game is a variety of characters with diverse styles, interesting stages that tell a story on their own, a good soundtrack, and balanced gameplay but nothing so difficult that I can't play with my kids easily.
Re: Your Concept Of A Perfect Fighting Game
In terms of MUGEN I would say Shades of Manhattan by Sean Altly, one of the best original full game projects ever created, original characters, original story, every character has their own background and agenda, Sean is a genius, if this had some real financial backing this could go everywhere, an official game for consoles, movies, comic books, tv show, besides the blackheart by andres borghi, this game is one of the most original well put together mugen projects i've ever seen!
Re: Your Concept Of A Perfect Fighting Game
A game with characters from different universes (like Mugen).
Re: Your Concept Of A Perfect Fighting Game
For Mugen: Characters that play like they are from their original fighting game such that we have got GM who created near accurate Street Fighter 3's characters, Warusaki3 who created near accurate Capcom vs. SNK 2's characters etc.
For Original Fighting Game: Small roster of about 7 to 8 characters like Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter 2, so that I could study all of the characters' gameplay, strength and weakness easily.
Re: Your Concept Of A Perfect Fighting Game
A fighting game should have unique characters and stages that fit these same characters. Characters should also be very balanced.
Re: Your Concept Of A Perfect Fighting Game
Fairly good balance so that a bottom tier character could still stand a decent chance against a top tier, and an easy to learn combo system
Re: Your Concept Of A Perfect Fighting Game
Perfect? Maybe the abuse of fan service makes a game far from perfect. But it has to be fun, if not, no matter how much the game is perfect in graphics and gameplay.
