What got you into mugen?

DBZ Mugen 2008, I remember my cousin playing it I tried it and loved it. Since then I play every DB mugen game lol

I have always liked mvc2 but always felt it was lacking characters that i wanted like the other symbiotes and more x-men characters. I have a custom MVC Max with my own added characters that really enjoy using. Spider carnage, dark phoenix, ghost rider, the punisher, and lots more.

Vinesauce Joel, seeing such ridiculous characters in a fighting game environment was far too hilarious to ignore

I remember being a young pup watching MvC2 videos on youtube and somehow they had spider man fighting goku and my mind was blown. However, I had always thought it was too confusing until i finally decided to try it for myself!

I've always loved fighting games and I stumbled upon a Mugen video on YouTube and I thought it was so cool.
I just recently remembered it existed and want to get back into it. :)

Youtube for sure. That Peter Griffin vs Homer Simpson Battle back then was the one that I have been playing till this very day.

Youtube is how I learned about it. I tried doing it years ago, but my Mom deleted all my stuff, and I gave up. Recently I watched a whole bunch of Bleach vs. Naruto videos, and now I'm giving it another go. Wish me luck!

im a fighting game junky and i seen the youtubes of optimus prime fighting popeye and i was like how do i get that. there some dream matchups i really want to have. im new here so hoping i can get started downloading soon.

I just saw someone playing it on Youtube recently and though that it looked like a game I had always wished I had as a kid.

i started playing mugen in 2010, i started with naruto games that i found on the internet and played with friends (still in lan houses) (both on the same keyboard) lmfao good times:cray:

I started playing Mugen back in 2007, was playing a mugen-pack called Naruto Battle Arena or something like that. Then I started researching mugen and found how customizable it actually is, and I fell in love with it.

It was mostly the prospect of making your own roster of characters.

I remember seeing Warner’s family guy characters! I was always a big fan of fighting games so make your own seemed like such a good idea. Been playing ever since!
