Well I've always heard of mugen but I never really used it. Then I recently downloaded and I'm in love with it now. Heck, I've started to develop my own cross over fighting game using it.

A mix of being exposed to it through the early days of YouTube and getting back into the scene through things like SaltyBet and CONEY's M.U.G.E.N. tournaments. It's sometimes hard to add stuff in, but **** is it fun.
afrosenjus vids and super smash flash 2 since it looks really close to mugen
Honestly I picked up mugen cause i saw the panda global guys play salty bets which then got me to straight up watch salty bets which then made me want to play the game itself
For a little while I knew what Mugen was, I just didn't have it and/or was too stupid to set it up properly. I think it was Cybershell's video related to Mathrus that got me to make the jump.
The youtube vi:grin:deos and how you could do pretty much anything.
saltybet
Youtube mostly
for me it was the fact that I could have both SF, Tekken and DBFZ fighters in the same game that made this interesting for me
